Bradley Jones

President, CEO, New York Independent System Operator

Bradley C. Jones became President and Chief Executive Officer of the New York Independent System Operator on October 12, 2015. Mr. Jones had been with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) since 2013, where he was a Senior VP and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Operations, Grid Planning, and Commercial Operations. He had previously served as VP for Commercial Operations at ERCOT. Before joining ERCOT, Mr. Jones was VP for Government Affairs at Luminant, the competitive generation subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings. Prior to that, Mr. Jones worked at TXU Corporation where he began as a Plant Engineer and rose through the organization to become VP for Generation Development. Mr. Jones earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Technical University at Lubbock and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
